Diplomas
Forest Lake Academy offers four diploma types designed specifically to give all students an option that fits their needs and their skill set. The number of credits, the types of classes, and the difficulty of these diplomas all vary, and each student should spend time reviewing each diploma with an academic adviser to determine which diploma is right for him or her. Standard Distance Learning Diplomas
Forest Lake Academy's distance learning program is an accredited method allowing students to "plug in" from any distance, and the students do come from all parts of the United States. The General Academic Diploma requires a slightly lower GPA than the College Preparatory Diploma, and the College Preparatory Diploma requires two consecutive years of a foreign language to be taken, as this is expected of high school students by many colleges.
Health Careers Diplomas (On Campus & Distance Learning)
Forest Lake Academy's most recent offerings include a number of Health Careers diplomas. Through this program, students are able to explore health careers options.

Honors Diplomas
Honors Diplomas are designed to give a challenge to those students who desire one. Students are able to take one or more of these diplomas, each of which offers an academic track that includes honors credits in the specific field of study. Through a partnership with Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences, each honors diploma gives students the opportunity to receive dual credit for college and high school during their senior year, and these credits are currently offered at no additional cost to our families. The diploma culminates in the senior year, when candidates present an honors project on a topic of their choosing to a panel of experts in their field of study. Various extra recognition is given throughout the senior year, including at our annual graduation ceremony.
