Mission

Spiritual values are at the core of Forest Lake Academy’s program. While we are involved in important classes, exciting sports events, educational trips, meaningful social interactions, and community outreach programs, when all is said and done, if Jesus has not somehow been focused on and uplifted, we are not fulfilling our role as a Seventh-day Adventist, Christian educational institution. That is why it is our mission is to CULTIVATE a CHRIST CENTERED atmosphere on campus. So that in turn Forest Lake Academy students can embrace a lifestyle of commitment to Christ.

Simply put…. Cultivate Christ For Life!!

Objectives:

1. To provide every student with opportunity to accept Christ as their Savior.

2. To teach students the importance of both knowing Biblical truth (Doctrine) and experience that truth so that it becomes a natural part of their lifestyle commitment to Christ.

3. To equip students with spiritual disciplines such as regular Bible study, prayer, contemplation, and worship needed to grow their relationship with Jesus.

4. To provide students with practical ways to live out their relationship with Christ in their communities.

5. To ground students in a lifestyle based on Biblical Values such as authenticity, integrity, honesty, and compassion.

6. To encourage staff members in their spiritual walk and facilitate staff involvement in spiritual activities.

7. To coordinate and cooperate with local church youth ministries and Florida Conference in connecting students with their local churches to become part of a growing youth ministry presence in Central Florida.
