Sports
The FLA athletics program displays enthusiasm. Sports activities are considered an integral part of the education program that seeks to develop young men and women physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually. Participation is a privilege that carries with it responsibility to the school team, and to the individual student. The program develops the total person and emphasizes, promotes, and practices Christian sportsmanship: respect for teammates, opponents, coaches, officials, and fans; demonstration of fair play; and leading by example while still projecting a sense of pride. All students have opportunity and are encouraged to develop life-long skills in recreational and athletic activities that will enable them to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout life.
