National Honor Society
The Forest Lake Academy chapter of the National Honor Society is an honorary organization that operates under the constitution of the national organization. The group is directed by an adviser; members are selected by a five-member faculty committee appointed by the principal. Membership selection is based on four areas as outlined in the National Honor Society constitution:
- character
- scholarship
- leadership
- service.
All four areas must be readily observable in order for a student to be selected.
