Jim Becker Memorial Fund

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected death of Jim Becker, husband of Gloria Becker, Principal of Forest Lake Academy. He died of a heart attack this past Tuesday evening, October 5.

To honor his life of service, especially to the young people of Forest Lake Academy, the Jim Becker Share the Dream Memorial Fund has been created. This fund will provide financial support to students who desire a Seventh-day Adventist Christian education.

His family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to this fund. Funds may be donated with a credit card by calling 407.772.3731 or by mailing a check made out to Forest Lake Academy to:  Jim Becker Memorial Fund, Forest Lake Academy, 500 Education Loop, Apopka, Florida 32703.
 
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Forest Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 515 Harley Lester Lane, Apopka, Florida  32703.

Jim was a dear friend to many and truly lived the meaning of servanthood. He will be greatly missed. It is exciting to know that through our support, his legacy will continue making a difference through the Jim Becker Share the Dream Memorial Fund.
