Bio

Christopher Ambs holds a bachelor’s in science education-Chemistry. He has 13 years of experience in this field and seven of those have been here at FLA 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

I feel God has given me the talents of leadership and teaching so that I may be able to connect with my students and show them God’s love through the study of His creation. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

Working at FLA allows me the opportunity to connect with my students and build a stronger relationship with them inside and outside of the classroom.  I am inspired to also give back to the high school I graduated from through my teaching. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 
I love staying active through sports, both as a player and a coach. At FLA, I have the privilege of coaching basketball, and in my free time I enjoy cycling, mountain biking, and reading
