Outdoor Education. In addition to his 15 years of teaching experience, Mr. Moreno worked as a guidance counselor for three years. He has been teaching at FLA for 14 years. 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

Growing up a pastor’s son, I felt called to youth ministry. Though I pursued counseling, God led me back 

through unexpected paths. Now, teaching Junior Bible, I believe He’s prepared me to guide youth for their end-time mission. I pray daily to take on this responsibility with guidance from the Holy Spirit. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

My wife and I are both alumni of FLA and met here, and both of our daughters attended here as well. I believe in Adventist education and have made it a priority to continue the legacy and traditions of FLA for generations to come. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I love to engage in leisure activities, cook gourmet meals, relax with my family and my dog, and go to the beach.
