Bio

Michael Needles holds a bachelor’s degree in health science from Union Adventist University. He has been in education for 13 years but just started his first year with the FLA family.  

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

Before teaching, I was serving overseas in the mission field. When our family finished our work, we asked God to show us our next mission field, and he led our family to teaching in an Adventist high school. That was 14 years ago, and God has continued to bless our work. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

I’ve only been here for a couple of months, however, in that short time, I have noticed things that I appreciate. My co-workers have been very helpful in getting me up to speed in my new position. As a new employee, that has been incredibly valuable. I am also really enjoying getting to know my students. They are a great bunch of kids.  

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

Riding motorcycles, golfing and traveling with my family.
