Bio

Nazanin Shams Mowlavi holds a degree in agriculture engineering from the University of Tehran. Mrs. Mowlavi has 14 years of experience and has been teaching at FLA for 6 years. 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

I feel called to Christian Education to help students grow in faith and character through an Adventist worldview—preparing them for service now and for Christ’s soon return. I’m passionate about guiding young minds to know God personally and live according to His Word and the Three Angels’ Messages. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

What I love most about working at FLA is the Christ-centered community. I’m inspired daily by the opportunity to nurture students spiritually, academically, and emotionally in an environment grounded in Adventist values, where faith and learning come together to prepare young people for a life of purpose and service. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I like to go gym and play pickleball with my son. I also love to be with my family all the time.
