FLA Share the Dream Scholarship
This scholarship is managed by FLA through FACTS. Businesses, alumni, and families who value Christian education have donated funds to help students with the cost of attending Forest Lake Academy. Funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Families must submit the Share the Dream Scholarship application and complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. NOTE: FLA partners with FACTS Management Company to assess financial need. Families submit their financial information directly to FACTS, and all information remains strictly confidential. FACTS evaluates need and provides a summary to FLA. FACTS Management Company does not provide scholarships or grants; it only processes financial assessments. There is a $40 annual fee per family for the FACTS assessment. Completing the FACTS assessment allows families to be considered for the FLA Grant Scholarship and for Share the Dream. However, completing FACTS does not automatically apply a family for Share the Dream. A separate Share the Dream application is required.
FLA Grant Scholarship (FACTS)
This scholarship is managed by FLA through FACTS and was established to provide financial assistance for eligible families. It is supported by the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. To be considered, families must complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. The application link is below.

FLA Academic Merit Scholarship
This scholarship is renewable yearly for students who maintain a minimum 3.5 unweighted cumulative GPA. You do not need to apply for this scholarship. It will be awarded automatically on your financial contract each year. Students transferring to Forest Lake Academy will be eligible after one year.
FLA Music Scholarships
The Performing Arts Scholarship is by audition only and is open to incoming freshmen. The Choral Accompanist Scholarship is open to current and incoming students who have an interest in being an accompanist for FLA’s choral groups.
The Music Scholarship has been awarded for the 2026-27 school year.
FLA Campus Job Opportunities
Student job opportunities are available on the Forest Lake Academy campus. Students receive $14 per hour and payment is deposited directly onto the student’s account. Contact the Business Office for more information.
FLA Tuition Discounts
Prepayment & Family Discounts
- Semester (by July 31 or January 1): 1.5% discount
- Full Year (by July 31): 3% discount
- Families with two or more full-time students: 5% discount for each student.
NOTE: All prepayment and family discounts are taken off the tuition after other payments/scholarships are subtracted. Discounts do not apply to the Registration Fee and Technology Fee. Additionally, international students are not eligible for these tuition discount offerings.
Florida Conference Academic Scholarships
This scholarship is an initiative of the Florida Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for high school and college students who are members of a Florida Conference church. Award amounts are based on grade level, family income, GPA, and an essay. The application window for this scholarship is from January through April. Step Up for Students Scholarship
This scholarship is an initiative funded by an outside organization. Information is available by visiting the website for Step Up for Students.
