ACT Testing

At Forest Lake Academy, we guide students through the important process of preparing for the SAT and ACT. Most colleges and universities accept scores from either exam for admission and scholarships, though some schools have moved to “test-optional” policies—meaning scores may not be required for admission but could still be used for class placement or scholarship eligibility. While testing requirements vary, SAT and ACT scores remain essential for Florida Bright Futures Scholarships and many institutional awards.

 

Need to Know:

    • Most colleges accept either the SAT or ACT.
    • Some schools are “test-optional,” but scores may still impact scholarships or placement.
    • Florida Bright Futures Scholarships require SAT or ACT scores.
    • Students are encouraged to take both exams at least once to compare results.
    • Both tests are digital at FLA, and students must bring their own laptops.
    • Forest Lake Academy is a Sunday testing site.
 

ACT Test Fee: $70.00

ACT registrations after the deadlines will incur an additional late fee of $42.00.

Registering for ACT Sunday Testing Online

To register for the ACT, no clergy letter is needed. Simply follow these steps:

    • Register at act.org
    • When you are in the process of registering, they will ask you if you can't test on Saturday for religious purposes, just check-mark that you will test on Sunday due to religious purposes.
    • Enter our FLA test center code #172791.
    • You will always see the Saturday testing date since that is the official testing date, go ahead and pay.
    • Upload your photo. Print your admission ticket which should have a Sunday testing date and FLA as your testing center.
