Spiritual Growth
Spiritual growth at Forest Lake Academy goes far beyond what happens in the classroom. While students are challenged and inspired through Bible classes, they are also invited into a variety of meaningful experiences that help them grow in their faith and build lasting spiritual foundations.
Outside of class, students encounter God through opportunities such as:
- Mini Class Retreats – A chance for classes to step away from the daily routine, connect with one another, and grow spiritually together.
- Prayer Conferences – Focused times of worship and prayer that encourage students to discover the power of talking with and listening to God.
- Spiritual Emphasis Weeks – Four times a year, the school community sets aside time to worship, learn, and reflect together. One of these weeks is completely student-led, with testimonies and messages shared by their peers.
- Campus Ministries – Student-led ministry teams plan special events and evenings of worship that invite the entire campus family to experience God in a personal and dynamic way.
- Senior Outbreak – A cornerstone retreat for the senior class, where students strengthen their bonds with each other and make thoughtful choices about their faith and their future.
These opportunities are designed to complement classroom learning and give students life-changing experiences with God that will guide and inspire them long after high school.
