FLA Coach Check List

ITEMS TO COMPLETE BEFORE SERVING AS AN OFFICIAL FLA COACH:

• Complete the background check specific to Forest Lake Academy
  • contact the athletic director [email protected] for documents and additional instructions

• Complete CPR Training 

  • contact [email protected] to verify certification status and for additional instructions

  • If necessary, send up-to-date certificates to [email protected] 

• Complete the following ALC Courses and send .pdf certificates to the athletic director: [email protected]: 

  • Coaching Distinctively Adventist Sports 1140 (2.0 CEU)

  • Coaching Distinctively Adventist Sports-Volunteer 1239 (0.5 CEU)

• Complete the following NFHS Courses and send .pdf certificates to the athletic director: [email protected]: 

  • Concussion in Sports

  • Sportsmanship

  • Heat Illness Prevention

  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest

• Accept the Band App invitation from Athletic Director or Head Coach for team communication and schedules
