Visual Arts

The Visual Arts program at Forest Lake Academy invites students to discover and develop their creativity through a wide range of mediums, including ceramics, sculpting, drawing, painting, photography, video production, and graphic design. Our project-based curriculum emphasizes both technical skills and personal expression, helping students grow in confidence while deepening their appreciation of God's creativity. Beyond foundational courses, motivated students may apply for honors classes that allow for independent study, portfolio development, and focused exploration of a chosen medium or style. With collaborative projects, field trips, and the annual Art Show highlighting student work, the program provides rich opportunities for growth, expression, and achievement. In addition, students graduate with portfolios and experiences that strengthen their readiness for college programs, creative industries, and wherever their talents may lead.
