Bio

Daniel Burrington studied Nursing at Atlantic Union College with an impressive 47 years of experience. He has been working at FLA for three years. 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

I just can't think of anything that I'd rather be doing than working with these kids and helping them learn to safely navigate our current world. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

Working with these students is more rewarding than I could have ever imagined! Working as a school nurse at FLA gives me the opportunity to interact with students in all sorts of ways. I enjoy listening to them and helping them in any way that I can. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I have gobbled up reading about history since I was old enough to check books out of my school library. My bucket list has changed since I have grown older. I no longer want to jump out of an airplane, and I no longer ride motorcycles or rappel.
