Bio

Heidi Salazar has a bachelor’s degree from Florida International University. Mrs. Salazar has three years of experience—all gained here at FLA—and is continuing her fourth year with us. 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

I feel called to Christian education because it allows me to share God’s love daily. Also to be part of shaping compassionate and faith-driven leaders for the future. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

I love the strong sense of community at FLA where students, staff, and alumni are all connected by faith and purpose. It’s a blessing to work where Christ is at the center. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I love spending time with my family, crafting, traveling, and exploring new places.
