Bio

Mike La Sage holds a B.A in Journalism from the University of Oregon, and a B.S. and M.S. in Secondary Instruction from Western Oregon University. He has also completed the Ed. Leadership Graduate Program from the University of Oregon. He has 32 years of experience in education and is starting his 33rd here with the FLA family.  

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

God knew that someone who came from a family where every other member dropped out of high school would only find his heart filled through serving school communities.  

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

The students are so respectful

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I love engaging with the natural world: mountain biking, golfing, water sports, and walking in the forest.
