Bio

Susan Becker has a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Andrews University, an M.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration from Florida State University, and a graduate certificate in Special Education from University from Central Florida. Mrs. Becker has 19 years of experience at FLA and will soon celebrate 20 years here. 

Why do you feel called to Christian Education? 

Exceptional teachers made a lasting impact on my life, and I hope to do the same for others. I'm 

passionate about the unique opportunity to share both my love for learning and my love for Jesus simultaneously. 

What do you love most about working at FLA? 

I love the incredible staff who work together as a team, our amazing students who bring energy and purpose to each day, and our unwavering focus on Jesus Christ. Forest Lake Academy creates a community where faith, learning, and relationships flourish together in Christ-centered excellence, and I am thankful for the opportunity to be here each day. 

What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school? 

I love spending quality time with my husband and boys, creating memories together as a family. You'll often find me on or near the water, where I find peace and joy. I'm passionate about traveling and exploring new places, experiencing different cultures and adventures with my loved ones.
