Bio
Victoria Emde received her BS from Andrews University. She has been working in various roles in Adventist education for close to 20 years.
Why do you feel called to Christian Education:
I feel a deep conviction, not just about Christian education, but specifically about Seventh-day Adventist Christian education. As students mature and begin thinking independently, they naturally wrestle with important questions. A Seventh-day Adventist education surrounds them with a Christ-centered, supportive environment where they can explore a personal walk with Jesus and see what it means to live out the gospel in practical, meaningful ways.
What do you love most about working at FLA?
The students! We have such amazing young people, and I’m grateful to play even a small role in their life story. My prayer is that, during the time we share, they see Jesus reflected in me and that their time here has an eternal impact in their lives.
What are some activities you love to do outside of work/school?
I love art and art history, traveling, eating good food with good friends, reading, and dreaming about home reno projects I will probably never do.
